Become a Driver

Join Edinburgh Cab’s driver network. Tell us about yourself and your vehicle, upload your current documents and submit your application for review.

How joining works

Submit your details → verify your email → admin checks your documents → receive an approval email → sign in to see journeys assigned to you by dispatch.

Submitting an application does not activate driver access. We may request replacement documents before approval. Contact dispatch for application updates.

I confirm the information is accurate and have read the privacy notice. When I go online and choose to share, dispatch can see my location. During an active assigned journey, the relevant customer can also see it. I can stop sharing; dispatch is informed that my location is unavailable.

Web location sharing needs permission and a working internet connection. Keep the driver page open while sharing; background or locked-screen tracking is not guaranteed.
