Edinburgh Cab is a locally owned and operated private hire company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are fully licensed by Edinburgh City Council and all our drivers are DBS checked.
What we actually do
We started as, and remain, an Edinburgh-first taxi company. Airport transfers, city rides, station pickups, and private tours around the capital and the Lothians — this is the core of what we do, run by drivers who know Edinburgh's streets properly, not just its postcode.
Licensed, local, accountable
Every driver is licensed through Edinburgh City Council and DBS-checked before ever taking a booking. If something goes wrong, there is a real Edinburgh-based team to call, not a call centre in another city.
Beyond Edinburgh
Plenty of our customers ask us for long-distance transfers — Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow and beyond — and we are glad to take those bookings directly.
