Plan your door-to-door journey
Arrange pre-booked travel for Highland stays and onward travel. Start from an Edinburgh hotel, home, station or the airport and travel to the final address you need. Your group and luggage stay on one journey without arranging separate local connections.
Getting the Inverness details right
If you are continuing to a lodge, rural property or another Highland destination, enter that final address. A transfer booked only to Inverness does not include the onward journey elsewhere.
Plan timing and preparation
Agree comfort breaks and a realistic arrival window for the longer drive. Share an onward train or activity reservation when planning rather than after the journey is confirmed.
Your destination checklist
- Use the final address
- Discuss breaks
- Allow a connection buffer
Collection from Edinburgh
For a hotel, provide the property name and agree the entrance. For rail arrivals, share the service and allow time to reach the meeting point. For a flight arrival, add the flight number and read the airport collection guide for tracking, meeting arrangements and the included waiting period.
Passengers, luggage and equipment
Enter the passenger count first, then add checked and hand luggage before comparing vehicles. Include bags for every traveller and discuss golf clubs, walking equipment, pushchairs or unusually large items in advance. Request child seats with the children’s ages. Vehicle suitability depends on storage as well as seats; contact the team about specialist access needs before paying.
Return journeys and extra stops
Choose Return when you need a second journey and enter its own date, time and addresses. Additional stops should be agreed because they affect the route and schedule. Check the lead passenger’s name, working phone number, complete itinerary and selected extras before payment. Keep the confirmation available and contact the team if plans change.
A direct transfer or time for sightseeing?
A direct journey is planned around reaching your destination. Visiting attractions needs an agreed itinerary and enough time for the stops you choose. Explore private Scottish tours or the long-distance travel guide. Admission tickets, activities and accommodation are separate unless expressly included in your written confirmation.
